Vazzano
Is licensed by the US Coast Guard and has been racing
and cruising the Chesapeake Bay and East Coast for the last 25 years
sailing Wharf
Rat, crewing and delivering other boats. A career educator, Captain Vazzano has
instructed students from kindergarten through twelfth grades. Let
him put his 35+ years as an instructor to work leading your team,
special occasion or day on the Bay.
Brunch and Sunset Sails
Brunch & Sunset Dinner Cruises depart from the Baltimore/Annapolis
area and feature freshly prepared gourmet meals May through October.
Sit back and relax or participate in the sailing and enjoy the powerful
sloop sail through the chop, waves reflecting off the flag blue hull.
Visit a local creek and anchor for your delicious meal, take a swim.
Enjoy your special time on the Chesapeake Bay watching eagles dive
for fish, the sun set and planets begin to appear.

with us for the day or weekend.

Private Sailing Charters and Instruction
Partake in a spectacular day sailing the Chesapeake and participate
in an enlightening sailtraining program! Ideal for groups or couples
looking for a relaxing day sailing on the Bay, but desire a more
informative and hands-on experience than just a pleasure cruise.
Take the helm, work the pit and trim the sails. Navigate with electronic
charts, GPS and radar or simply sit back and enjoy the experience!
Instructional Sail Pricing:
4-hour Sail for 2: $350
3-6 people: $450
*6-hour Day Sail: 2-3 People: $500
4-6and up: $600
*Overnight 2 People: $1000
3 and up: add $100/person

Rat or an owner’s

Deliveries
Captain Vazzano and his crew will deliver your boat for local Chesapeake
or East Coast Race and cruise destinations. We have sailed up and down the East Coast, Bermuda and the Virgin Islands.

building charter. Aboard
the sailing vessel Wharf Rat your group will discover how to

planning and leadership. On ayacht, it takes everyone together to
sail effectively as a team, sailing is an

The
CS 40 is close to the ideal performance cruiser. This sloop was successfully
campaigned by CS with respectable results. Wharf Rat has Speed, power,
strength, grace, beauty, and comfort. She is a tall mast,
deep keel
sloop with 3-cabins
and the modern interior is comfortable and functional.
Wharf Rat is outfitted with Category
1
offshore safety
equipment. The navigation station has state of
the art electronics
incorporating multiple deck instruments and radar. The sail inventory
is high tech, current and complete.
